Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit Northwest Lahser Dialysis is seeking a detail-oriented staff member to serve as the face and voice of the dialysis unit. You will handle patient interactions in person and by phone, enter data into databases, schedule tests and treatments, and help maintain accurate records.

Under supervision, you will complete forms, generate reports, and support a collaborative, interdisciplinary team focused on safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer experience; familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.
• Experience entering information into databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients and families with respect and dignity in the dialysis setting.
• Complete medical records responsibilities and maintain accuracy.
• Enter scheduling information and corrections into Dimensions.
• Fulfill lab computer responsibilities and infection control requirements.
• Prepare monthly reports and statistics.
• Maintain office supplies and a neat, safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Support dialysis program goals in incenter and home settings as appropriate.
