As a Diagnostic Healthcare Scheduler, you will fulfill all tasks related to scheduling and confirming patients for upcoming procedural cases at Banner Health Medical Center. To accomplish these takes, you will utilize strong decision making, communication and problem-solving skills aimed at maximizing customer satisfaction for patients, physicians, nursing staff, and administrative colleagues.
Additionally, we are seeking an individual with a high level of accountability (and, as needed, sense of urgency) as required to successfully fulfill the time-sensitive needs of customers that partner with us each day to provide optimal patient care. Our dynamic environment requires adaptability and strong time management to complete critical tasks with varying complexities and volumes.
This position is full time, Monday - Friday 0730-1600. This position will work on-site at Banner University Medical Center Main campus but may float to our North campus on occasion.

This position is responsible for scheduling patient treatments or diagnostic procedures for assigned area. Activities include pre-registration; receiving physician orders, insurance verification, gathering pre-authorizations and pre-certifications. Maintains records and produces statistical reports as required. May distribute educational materials to patients and families if needed in assigned department.
