Job summary

The role involves data entry, equipment maintenance, ordering supplies, calibrations, and maintaining QA records while coordinating with CAHFS and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience independently performing and interpreting diagnostic testing in bacteriology, mycology and parasitology in a veterinary or human diagnostic laboratory.
• Experience working in a highly regulated diagnostic environment with strict QA/QC and documentation.
• Experience in molecular bacteriology, mycology and parasitology diagnostics in a veterinary or human lab.
• Organizational skills to multitask, manage inventory/records, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diverse colleagues and external agencies.
• Computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets and QA/LIMS programs.
