Job summary

Walter P Moore is seeking a Diagnostics Intern in Chicago to join a multidisciplinary team of engineers on diagnostics projects for commercial structures. You will assist in forensics, restoration, renovation and rehabilitation initiatives across arenas, offices, hospitals and parking facilities.

The internship targets students enrolled in Civil or Architectural Engineering programs with an interest in building enclosure and forensic analysis, and requires strong communication skills and US work

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture.
• Demonstrated interest in forensics engineering, building envelope rehabilitation, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communications.
• Eligibility to work in the United States upon acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of engineers on diagnostics projects including forensics, restoration, renovation and rehabilitation of commercial structures and complexes.
• Contribute to four practice areas: Building Enclosure, Forensic Analysis, Parking Restoration, and Restoration/Renovation.
