Job summary

Teradyne in North Reading, MA, is seeking a Sr Embedded SW/Diagnostics Engineer to design, develop, and implement diagnostic software for testing embedded computer hardware. You will use C, Bash, and Python to create comprehensive testing solutions that verify reliability, functionality, and performance of our hardware systems.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, proficiency in C, C++, and C#, strong Bash and Python scripting

• Programming Expertise in C, C++ and C#, with strong understanding of low-level programming and hardware interaction.
• Scripting Knowledge: Bash and Python for automation and test scripting.
• Embedded Systems Experience with processors, memory, I/O, and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C).
• Debugging Tools: JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Linux/Unix Systems experience including shell scripting and system-level programming.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $129,600 - $207,400. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan:

This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
