Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, be licensed as an RT in the state, and possess ARRT Radiography certification along with BLS/CPR.

Fluoroscopy credentials and strong communication skills are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Active RT license in the state of practice.
• ARRT Radiography certification required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Fluoroscopy license/certification as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of radiographic imaging procedures and radiation safety.
• Strong communication, technical, and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Prepare, position, and instruct patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopy equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Verify image quality and transmit studies through PACS for physician interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures and report any significant findings or concerns.
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and quality control of imaging equipment.
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, HIPAA, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
