Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and ensure patient safety in a hospital setting. You will prepare patients, operate radiology equipment, and maintain records under the direction of a radiologist.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiography program, NJ RT license, ARRT, and BLS certification. Experience in a health care facility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging and treatment processes per state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment, including setup, troubleshooting, and sanitization.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses questions.
• Ensures safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Coordinates daily imaging procedures and revises as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
