Job summary

Northwell Health in Sharon, CT is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for per diem coverage in Diagnostic Radiology. You will perform a variety of imaging procedures following established protocols and work closely with patients and staff.

The position requires a two-year radiologic technology program, CT license in Connecticut, ARRT registration or eligibility, High School diploma, and current BLS certification. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduation from a two year accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with the ARRT or Registry Eligible.
• Licensed by the State of Connecticut to practice and administer radiation.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures according to protocols set by the Radiology Medical Director.
• Acts as the first line interface with patients to fulfill diagnostic imaging needs.
• Participates in CQI activities and adheres to hospital policies and department procedures.
