Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional to perform ultrasound examinations, obtain high-quality images, and adapt techniques to patient needs.

You will communicate findings, educate patients about procedures, maintain equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to support timely diagnoses and patient safety. The role emphasizes quality, documentation, and commitment to compassionate care at GVMH.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Appropriate sonography certification and/or registry credentials.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders.
• Obtain high-quality images for physician interpretation.
• Assess patients and adapt imaging techniques to clinical needs.
• Communicate pertinent findings appropriately.

• Maintain ultrasound equipment and work areas.
• Monitor inventory and equipment needs.
