Job summary

The Imaging Center in Germantown, TN is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center. You will perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures, prepare and educate patients, review orders, and ensure safety following ALARA standards.

Must have ARRT Radiography certification, a minimum of 5 years in radiology, and a two-year radiology education or equivalent. BLS within 60 days of hire; state licensure required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Associate's degree in Radiology or graduate of a 2-year radiology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography with valid registration; state licensure compliance; BLS within 60 days of hire.
• Strong ability to operate radiographic and ancillary imaging equipment.
• Proven ability to work independently and multitask while ensuring patient safety.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist

EDUCATION:

• Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Skill in operation of radiographic equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
