Job summary

SGS Consulting in Austin, TX seeks a Linux Systems Administrator to support production environments, troubleshoot Linux, networks, and hardware, and contribute to reliability initiatives.

You will analyze logs, develop and maintain technical documentation, and create automation scripts in Python or Bash, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues. Prior CJIS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Linux administration experience (RHEL and/or Ubuntu preferred).
• 1+ year of server hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and the OSI model.
• Experience analyzing system and application logs.
• Proficiency with Python or Bash scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• CJIS Certification.
