Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations and operate imaging equipment. You will maintain records and assist physicians in various procedures.

Qualified candidates have completed a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology and can tailor examinations to patient size and condition while ensuring safety and accuracy. You will participate in QA/QC and help train students in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to perform procedures accurately, operate equipment, and collaborate in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic and fluoroscopic examinations with proper patient positioning and exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment Safely and efficiently.
• Set up immobilization and radiation protection devices.
• Assess patient size and condition to tailor examinations.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation.

Role Overview: Perform standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operate imaging equipment, and maintain accurate records.

• Conduct radiological procedures using proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
• Operate all equipment within the modality safely and efficiently.
• Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective devices.
• Assess patient body size, physical condition, and suspected pathology to tailor examinations.
• Assist physicians with various procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or adjustments.
• Maintain detailed related records and documentation.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.
