• Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper identification, and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Use appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles to ensure patient safety and care quality.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, and document radiation exposure activities in compliance with legal standards.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage or transfer. Assist in fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside radiology settings.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare staff, supporting clinical procedures and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; bachelor's degree preferred.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within six months of hire.
• Applicants hired after a specified date must complete steps to advance to level 2 within 24 months.
