Job summary

OSF HealthCare is hiring a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist I to perform radiographic procedures and guide patients through imaging exams. This role requires completing a radiography program and ARRT registration either at hire or within 2 years, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Radiography program with associated certificate or degree.
• ARRT Registration is required at hire or within 2 years of hire after sitting for registration within 6 months of hire.
• American Heart Association (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience in diagnostic radiology or patient-facing roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures with minimal supervision when appropriate.
• Collect medical history and answer patient questions regarding imaging procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and proficiently.
• Collaborate with Providers on results to determine if additional images are needed.
