Job summary

AHS - Sherman Medical Center in Sherman, TX seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocols and regulatory standards. You will be the first line interface with patients, addressing imaging needs and participating in PI/QC activities.

The role includes processing and transmitting images to PACS; CT experience is a plus and familiarity with state and federal regulations is required. BLS must be obtained within 30 days.

Qualifications

• ARRT and Texas Medical Board certification or active JCERT radiology student who completed competencies.
• Able to perform fluoro portables, surgery, ED and routine imaging as needed.
• Familiar with state and federal regulations.
• BLS required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire and kept current.
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic procedures according to department protocols and regulatory standards.
• Interfaces with customers and meets imaging needs as first point of contact.
• Participates in PI/QC activities and quality improvement.
• Processes and transmits images to PACS; CT experience is a plus.
