Job description

Diagnostic Radiologist - RUHS

The radiology department at Riverside University Health System (RUHS) has an opening for a diagnostic radiologist affiliated with the Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group. Located in Southern California’s Inland Empire, the facility serves a population of over 200,000 imaging examinations per year and is a Level I Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Joint Commission‑named Top Performer on Key Quality Measures.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and scholarly activity.
• Teach radiology residents, provide quarterly lectures to family and internal medicine residents.
• Provide 13 weeks of call coverage for fluoroscopic studies, cover weekend film reading from home, and share holiday coverage with the team. Coverage averages 1–2 home shifts per week from 7 am–4 pm or 11 am–8 pm, with remaining on‑site shifts from 8 am–5 pm. No scheduled work after 8 pm or before 7 am; backup coverage is available.
• Assist with installation and utilization of new imaging equipment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a diagnostic radiology residency.
• Optional experience in mammography.
• Experience working in a teaching environment preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting base compensation ranges from $500,000 to $550,000. Variable compensation and productivity bonuses are not included in this range.
