UnitedHealth Group in Mount Kisco, NY is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to join Optum NY/NJ. This physician-led role offers a collegial, multi-specialty environment with a large referral network and flexible scheduling across onsite and remote reading opportunities.

The ideal candidate will hold NY licensure (or in process), board certification or eligibility in Radiology, and a DEA license. The role emphasizes patient-centered care with strong support staff and modern imaging capabilities.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted New York license or in process
• Board Certification or eligibility in Radiology
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain before start

Responsibilities

• The radiology department covers multiple imaging sites in the tri-state region where our Radiologists work cohesively to provide high quality and timely interpretations
• Offering state of the art image guided procedures including all types of breast biopsies, thyroid biopsies, fluoroscopy, joint steroid injections, and arthrograms
• Our radiology department offers high quality equipment, PACS and efficient automated dictation templates
• Home workstations allow flexibility, improved quality of life and better coverage for our urgent cares
• As a part of a large multi-specialty group, we have one dedicated EMR with additional sharing technology, our team communicates effortlessly within our department and with our referring colleagues both in and outside of the organization
