Job description

A nationally recognized academic medical organization in the Bronx, New York, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join its Emergency Radiology division as an academic faculty member.

The Emergency Radiology team includes six radiologists and provides comprehensive imaging services in a high-acuity academic environment. This opportunity offers a structured schedule, competitive compensation, academic appointment, and comprehensive benefits.

Schedule
  • Approximately 122 shifts per year
  • One week on followed by two weeks off
  • Overnight coverage with two radiologists on duty
  • 10-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends
  • Collaboration with a night-float resident
  • 24/7 CT, ultrasound, and MRI technologist support
  • Full‑time and part‑time opportunities available
  • Part‑time option of approximately 61 shifts per year
Clinical Responsibilities

The selected physician will interpret a broad range of emergency imaging studies, including:

  • CT, including body and neuroimaging
  • Ultrasound
  • Radiographs
  • Emergency imaging across a broad range of clinical presentations
  • Neuro MRI, with experience considered a plus

No procedural responsibilities are required. Nuclear medicine and mammography interpretation are not required for this position.

Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in New York
  • Fellowship training preferred in Emergency Radiology, Neuroradiology, or Body Radiology
