Adventist Health Twin Cities in Templeton, CA, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment, position patients, and adjust exposure settings under physician orders. The role involves ensuring safety and quality of diagnostic images and documenting exam information in PACS.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, ARRT-R, a state RT license, BLS, and fluoroscopy credentials.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent required.
ARRT-R radiography certification required.
Radiologic Tech license in state of practice required.
BLS certification required by AH policy.
Fluoroscopy license in state of employment required.
Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required.

Responsibilities

Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Explains procedures to patients and answers questions. Prepares equipment for use as needed. Prepares examination rooms for patient exams. Positions patients for imaging exams. Monitors patients and ensures safety during exams.
Produces diagnostic images. Documents exam information. Reports important information to the physician.
Verifies exams on PACS.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
