Qualifications

• Citizenship: US or eligible under VA policy
• English proficiency required
• Completion of a 24-month post-high school radiologic technology program
• ARRT Radiography certification
• Education: associate degree/certificate in radiologic technology
• English proficiency: required by VA rules

Responsibilities

• Perform digital and computerized radiography with quality control
• Apply post-processing techniques and radiation safety measures
• Identify patients and verify two identifiers
• Assist radiologists with clinical exams and procedures
• Maintain RIS/HIS records and manage imaging workflow
• Train students from Augusta Technical College in radiographic techniques
