US Military Treatment Facilities under DHA, Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, seeks a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CT) for on-site duties. The position requires CT imaging experience, radiology procedures expertise, and adherence to safety protocols in a clinical environment.
Candidates may qualify with one year of specialized CT experience or 1.5 years of graduate study in Diagnostic Radiology/Radiography, or a combination of education and experience meeting 100% criteria.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Public Law 97-35 requires that persons who administer radiologic procedures meet the credentialing standards in 42 CFR Part 75. Essentially, they must (l) have successfully completed an educational program that meets or exceeds the standards described in that regulation and is accredited by an organization recognized by the Department of Education, and (2) be certified as Computed Tomography (CT) Radiologist in their field. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below.
One year of specialized experience which includes performing diagnostic radiologic examinations, including Computed Tomography (CT) examinations; setting up the exam room or preparing or administering contrast material; and operating portable radiographic equipment such as a C-arm. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
One and a half years of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as Diagnostic Radiology/Radiography.
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total semester hours minus 18) by 9. Add the two percentages.
