Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in radiologic technology from an accredited program.
• Current certification/registration as a radiographer per applicable standards.
• Experience with radiology record-keeping and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine to complex diagnostic radiographic examinations using fixed and portable imaging equipment.
• Positions patients and selects/adjusts factors to obtain high-quality images.
• Provides patient care and ensures radiation safety by explaining procedures and monitoring patients during exams.
• Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains radiographic equipment; reports malfunctions.
• Maintains accurate radiology records and participates in infection control and QA activities.
