  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine radiological procedures.
  • Applies technical judgment to obtain studies of acceptable diagnostic quality.
  • Assists, prepares and positions patients for radiological procedures.
  • Educates patients about imaging procedures and required instructions.
  • Labels radiographic images as per SOP and uses shielding where appropriate.
  • Maintains infection control and radiology room cleanliness.
  • Records patient tracking information in IDX and schedules exams in IDX.
  • Escorts patients and assists physicians as required.
  • Ensures studies are completed in IDX and transmitted to PACS in a timely manner.

Education

Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent
