WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist to perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures at an intermediate skill level. The role includes operating in OR settings with C-arm, managing patient positioning, and ensuring safety standards.

The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration with multiple departments, and participation in quality improvement projects. On-call requirements vary by hospital and shift is evenings/ holidays as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of radiology experience required.
• Accredited program in radiologic technology required.
• BLS on hire required and ARRT certifications in relevant areas may be required on hire.

Responsabilidades

• Performs radiographic examinations, obtains patient history, explains procedures and addresses concerns.
• Operates in specialty areas (orthopedic, neuro and vascular OR) with intermediate level skills.
• Demonstrates leadership; trains and allocates work; oversees others.
• Schedules cases to coordinate with other examinations.
• Positions and transfers patients safely; explains procedures.
• Uses radiation safety practices; processes images via PACS/EHR and resolves system issues.
• Evaluates image quality; maintains repeat rate under 65% of national standard.
• Participates in projects to improve care and efficiency.
