Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Radiographer at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. This full-time role requires X-raying patients under radiologist direction and producing high-quality images to aid diagnosis.

You will prepare and maintain patient records and support imaging procedures on weekdays. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, obtaining patient histories, ensuring safety and comfort, and coordinating daily imaging services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
• Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
• Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patients.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School

NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license

ARRT Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
