Job summary

Community Medical Centers is seeking a radiologic technologist to perform imaging procedures and provide patient care under the supervision of a Diagnostic Supervisor and Radiologists.

The role requires adherence to P&P, state regulations, and ALARA radiation safety principles, with a focus on patient safety and accurate imaging. You will work within a diagnostic team to support imaging needs and CQI activities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (HSE) or IEP Certificate is required.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS, CRT, CTRF P are required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Imaging procedures and patient care under the guidance of a Diagnostic Supervisor and Radiologists.
• Adhere to P&P, state regulations, and ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Maintain patient safety protocols and ensure accurate imaging through quality CQI activities.
• Serve as the first line interface with patients and support imaging needs for our diagnostic team.

Responsibilities

Specialized medical professionals in the art of roentgenography. Patient care specialist that works as both individual-care-provider and as part of a diagnostic team under the guidance of a Diagnostic Supervisor & the Radiologists. Performs tasks abiding by P&P, State Regulations, & ALARA radiation safety principles. Utilizes x-ray photon producing equipment to image the human body. Works under potentially stressful situations i.e., trauma cases. Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required

Licenses and Certifications

• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist required
• CTRF P - State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
