Job summary

The Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and produce diagnostic images as ordered by physicians. You will position patients, adjust equipment, and document imaging results for PACS review.

The role requires ARRT-R certification, an Oregon Radiologic Technologist License, and BLS. A preferred Associate’s degree in radiologic technology and strong safety knowledge are valued in this on-site position in Oregon.

Qualifications

• Required ARRT-R certification and Oregon Radiologic Technologist License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred associate’s degree in radiologic technology.
• Strong understanding of imaging procedures, patient positioning, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Position, instruct, and prepare patients for imaging exams.
• Adjust x-ray equipment, determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time.
• Perform screening procedures, ensure patient safety, and monitor during exams.
• Produce and document diagnostic images, verify exams on PACS, and report findings to physicians.
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment for use, answer patient questions, and perform additional related duties as assigned.
