Job summary

MEP Health in Greenwood, MS is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to operate radiology equipment and perform diagnostic procedures under physician direction. You will ensure patient safety, maintain equipment standards, document results, and support department quality initiatives.

Applicants should have an accredited Radiology Technology program, ARRT registration or pending, and an associate degree in a related field.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology Program and ARRT(R) registration or recent graduate awaiting registration.
Minimum of an associate degree in a related field preferred.
Thorough understanding of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions, plan, and organize work effectively.
Licensure requirements include ARRT(R), BLS certification within 14 days, and state licensing if applicable.

Responsibilities

Performs radiologic procedures following technical and safety standards as directed by a licensed physician.
Exercises judgment in selecting appropriate settings for each patient and develops treatment plans.
Implements procedures in accordance with hospital protocols, maintains accurate documentation, and ensures safety and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
Participates in performance improvement activities and collects quality data to monitor standards.
Completes assigned goals and performs additional duties as needed.
