KAISER in Fontana, California is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to perform ultrasound exams of the abdomen, pelvis and obstetric studies, producing high-quality diagnostic images and preparing reports for physicians. Under indirect supervision, performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations and produces ultrasonic recordings of internal organs, which are used by physicians to diagnose disease processes and delineate both normal and abnormal human anatomy as well as pathological conditions in the organs of the abdomen, superficial structures such as the pelvis, gravid uterus and other areas of the human body as well as obstetrics ( e.g., evaluation of fetal presentation, amniotic fluid volume, cardiac activity, placental position, fetal biometry, and fetal number, plus anatomic survey, maternal uterus and Adnexa, fetal biophysical profile, amniocentesis, fetal Doppler sonography, fetal echocardiogram, or additional biometric measurements, chorionic villus sampling, embryo transfer, and localization and removal of an intrauterine device.)
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and to apply the principles, theories, practices and techniques of diagnostic medical sonography.
Demonstrated ability to operate ultrasound equipment in order to produce quality ultrasound images, recognize normal human anatomy and pathological conditions and utilize ultrasound equipment to differentiate disease processes and artifacts
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Ob-Gyn from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers

Basic Life Support
2 years clinical experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in an acute care medical center.
RDMS in OB, RDCS in Fetal Echocardiogram, and NT Certification, through NTQR or FMF
2 YRS MFM Experience (Detailed, Echo, NT/FTA, and endovag w/CL).
. Variable days and hours between 7AM and 9PM.
Work Hours: 1700-2000
