Job summary

Olympic Medical Center in Washington state seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic procedures and apply ionizing radiation safely under the direction of credentialed radiologists. This role requires independent judgment and expects familiarity with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient care.

Two years of hospital radiology experience preferred; ARRT registry and Washington state licensure are required, with BLS certification obtainable.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training.
• ARRT registry certification or equivalent.
• Two years experience in radiology in a hospital setting preferred.
• Current ARRT registry certification and Washington State licensure. BLS certified or able to obtain and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures by applying ionizing radiation safely to patients.
• Work at a technical level with independence and initiative under radiologists and referring providers.
• Have knowledge of age-related care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients; interact with patients, families, and physicians.
