Job summary

United Urology Group is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Operations Supervisor to oversee imaging department operations, patient access, and scheduling. You will lead imaging support staff, ensure efficient workflows, and partner with providers and leadership to support growth and service excellence.

The role requires 3–5 years in healthcare operations and prior supervisory experience. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in a related healthcare field.
  • 3–5 years of healthcare operations, patient access, scheduling, imaging, or related management experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience with healthcare operations, patient scheduling, insurance verification, authorization processes, or revenue cycle activities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations and administrative functions of the imaging department.
  • Supervises and develops imaging support personnel, including scheduling, patient access, and administrative staff.
  • Ensure efficient workflows that support patient access, operational performance, and customer service excellence.
  • Collaborates with providers, operational leaders, revenue cycle teams, and clinical staff to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Monitor departmental performance and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, service, and financial performance.
  • Support departmental growth initiatives, business development activities, and strategic objectives.
  • Assist with budgeting, resource planning, staffing, and operational reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and departmental procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts and support accreditation and operational readiness initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver education, training, and operational guidance to providers, clinical staff, and office personnel to promote accurate imaging orders, efficient workflows, and adherence to departmental processes.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Description

The Diagnostic Imaging Operations Supervisor is responsible for the administrative and operational oversight of imaging services, including patient access, scheduling, workflow management, staff development, and operational performance. This position partners with providers, clinic teams, and organizational leadership to support efficient operations, appropriate imaging utilization, service excellence, and strategic growth initiatives. Clinical oversight of imaging procedures is provided by appropriately licensed imaging personnel.

Qualifications
