MSPCA-Angell in Boston is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Anesthesia Support Assistant/Technician to assist the anesthesia team and ensure the highest safety standards in patient care.
The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team. You will help with ongoing cases and may lead and tutor other technical staff as needed.

The Diagnostic Imaging Anesthesia Support Assistant/Technician works as a team member whose primary duty is supporting the DI anesthesia technician/assistant to ensure best patient care with the highest safety standards. When not working on anesthetized/sedated patients the DI Anesthesia Support Asst. will assist in DI. The DI Anesthesia Support Asst. will be expected to stay and complete cases for that day.
The DI Anesthesia Support Asst. should excel in interpersonal communication skills, be reliable, independent, and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The DI Anesthesia Support Asst. must have a strong technical background and knowledge of veterinary medicine and recognize the importance of conveying this knowledge and expertise to others. They must provide guidance, support and leadership to other technical staff when working. A qualified candidate must be willing to take an active role in the continuing education and training of other staff.

Veterinary Assistants starting $21-$27/hour
Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $25-$30/hr, $5000 Sign on Bonus for CVTs!
