Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Diagnostic Imaging Aide to support the department by coordinating supplies, equipment and staff under supervision. The role involves communication with multiple departments, and providing essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth operations in the imaging area.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, excellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Under the direct supervision of the modality or department leader, the Diagnostic Imaging Aide coordinates the activities of the department through communication, requisitioning, and managing of supplies, equipment and staff. Interacts and communicates with personnel from various departments and support services as well as the public and department co-workers. Provides administrative and clerical support to the department.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Previous data entry experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 3 months of entering position.

Contacts:

• Regular contact with medical personnel and its visitors.

Working Conditions:

• Lifts a minimum of 25 lbs, pushes and pulls a minimum of 50 lbs. and stands a minimum of 6 hours a day

Minimum rate of $21.78 Hourly
