Job summary

Solis Mammography in Paris, TX is seeking a Diagnostic Breast Sonographer to join our PRN team. You will operate ultrasound equipment, obtain precise measurements, and communicate findings to radiologists while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program accredited by the CAAHEP or equivalent.
• Certificates: Active ARDMS certification and CME compliance.
• Language/communication: Effectively communicate procedures and educate patients about the role of mammography.
• Reading/writing: Read and write medical terminology; communicate with doctors, patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality ultrasound images and obtain measurements for each exam.
• Explain procedures to patients to maximize comfort and cooperation.
• Assist radiologists during ultrasound exams and biopsies using sterile technique.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Communicate patient information professionally to referring physicians.
