Penn Medicine is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to deliver clinical support and patient care in a provider office. You will prepare patients, administer injections and medications, and assist with procedures and testing per protocol.

The role requires 1+ year MA experience in a clinical setting, BCLS and NRCMA certification, and strong communication to coordinate care and support a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years Medical Assistant experience in a primary or specialty care physician’s office.
• Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required.

Responsabilités

• Prepares patient for visit by using appropriate rooming standards tool.
• Administers injections as prescribed by provider.
• Prepares and administers medications according to protocol.
• Assists with procedures and minor surgeries as designated by provider.
• Performs Point of Care Testing (e.g., flu, strep, urine) as needed.
• Handles patient communications and triage per protocols.
• Coordinates referrals and care transitions when required.
• Maintains clean exam rooms and assists with front office tasks.
