Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Outpatient Diabetes Education Dietitian to support Lehigh Valley Health Network in Hazleton and Pottsville, PA. Provide diabetes education and MNT while partnering with physicians, nurses, and advanced practice providers.

Enjoy a hybrid schedule with one remote day each week. Receive training in continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump therapy, participate in research and performance improvement projects, and help patients achieve better health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field per ACEND guidelines.
• OR Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements for eligibility before 1/1/2024.
• RD/RDN eligibility and state licensure requirements will be met.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process to provide evidence-based care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Provide education and training to patients, staff, and students on diabetes care.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes.

Pay Range: $64600 - $83600

• Deliver nutrition care for patients, residents, and communities as part of a contractual agreement, using the Nutrition Care Process (assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation).

Requirements

• Education Requirement:
• Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelines
• OR, for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024: Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements.
• Management Experience: 0-1 years
• Related Experience: 0-3 years
• Credentials Requirement:
• Meets eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire
• Must meet state licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable
