Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a senior technology transformation leader to partner with senior stakeholders and modernize financial processes using innovative tech solutions.

You will guide citizen development teams, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure governance, quality, and audit readiness while delivering scalable digital tools.

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD/DHS PUBLIC TRUST; candidates must obtain approved adjudication prior to onboarding.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• TWELVE (12) years of experience leading technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery, including backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative development cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor teams, fostering innovation while ensuring governance and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of an organization.
• Experience with change management or organizational design in technology-driven environments.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP system or equivalent functionality.
• Ability to commute to Guidehouse and client offices in the DC, MD, and VA area, as needed.

• Embed financial management standards into the design and development of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with federal financial policies, audit readiness, and operational integrity.
• Collaborate with technology practitioners to drive the creation of scalable AI prototypes, serving in a product manager role.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or project management (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe).
• Familiarity with federal IT governance frameworks, including security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
• Advanced degree in business, technology, or public administration.
• Experience in federal business development and the ability to lead end to end capture.
• Familiarity with federal financial systems and processes, particularly those relevant to CFO functions within DHS or similar agencies.
