Job summary
NVIDIA is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to lead the Production Engineering organization for DGX Cloud capacity across on-prem, hyperscalers, and cloud environments. This senior technical leader will define architectural direction for cluster operations, drive cross-team improvements, and ensure scalable, reliable production systems.
The role combines software, systems, and production engineering to build durable workflows, APIs, and standards that reduce manual work and improve release safety
Qualifications
- Senior technical leadership in production engineering and cross-team alignment.
- Experience defining operating models, architecture direction, and standards.
- Proven track record leading large, cross-team efforts from concept to production.
Responsibilities
- Define long-range technical strategy for DGX Cloud clusters across data centers and clouds.
- Set operating standards for lifecycle, delivery, release readiness and steady-state operability.
- Guide cross-organizational investments to improve production readiness and safety.
- Make high-impact technical decisions on platform, hardware, provider and service collaboration.
- Develop durable workflows and interfaces across Kubernetes, on-prem and bare-metal.
- Restructure operations and service-layer reliability domains.
- Advance automation, APIs and readiness gates to bring new capacity online.
- Reduce manual input and define ownership and traceability in production.
- Collaborate with platform teams and engineering leaders to remove friction.
