Job summary

Lowe Rental Inc. is seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our service team in Fort Worth, TX. This role reports to the Service Manager and collaborates with senior technicians on equipment repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities include on-site maintenance, timely repairs, inventory control, and providing phone support as needed. Occasional travel to other locations and trade shows is required; OSHA and company QHSE guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• EPA CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.
• Basic HVAC knowledge required.
• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC/Refrigeration and warehouse experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take direction and work with senior technicians to address and repair equipment issues.
• Occasional travel to other locations, trade shows, and events as needed.
• Organize Parts Area for inventory control.
• Perform refrigeration service end-to-end and make repairs to ensure units work properly.
• Inspect equipment, tools, and PPE to ensure proper condition.
• Diagnose problems and propose timely solutions for customer satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and LOWE QHSE requirements.
• Keep work area and parts room clean and safe.
• Provide customer service and technical support via phone as needed.
• Pull and ship parts to customers for all areas of the business.

About the Role

The company is seeking a qualified, motivated Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our service team. This position will report to the Service Manager and must be able to take direction regarding spend and overall direction of the business needs.

Responsibilities

• Take direction and work with the senior technicians to properly address and repair equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner. This a coach/team relationship.
• Required occasional travel to other locations and/or trade shows and events as needed to fulfill your responsibilities.
• Responsible for organizing Parts Area for inventory control.
• Perform refrigeration service in its entirety and make repairs as needed to ensure units are in proper working condition.
• Perform inspections of all equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment to ensure that it is in good working condition.
• Be able to diagnose problem(s) and gather solution in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform all work in strict adherence to OSHA guidelines and LOWE QHSE requirements.
• Responsible for organizing, cleaning, and ensuring safe environment for work area/parts room.
• Provide customer service and tech support via phone as needed.
• Pull and ship parts to customers for all areas of the business as needed.

Pay range and compensation package

Determined based on qualifications and experience; to be discussed during the interview stage.

Qualifications

EPA CERTIFICATION REQUIRED and basic HVAC knowledge.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of on‑site maintenance and ability to work with vendors/contractors.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to learn and operate the company’s computer software.
