Job summary

Diverse Facility Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Gondola Technician to perform gondola and waste removal duties, minor maintenance, and general cleaning to keep facilities healthy and safe.

The role requires physical work and adherence to safety protocols in a multi-location environment. Responsibilities include trash removal, cleaning fixtures and surfaces, floor care, basic maintenance, and proper chemical handling.

Qualifications

• The gondola technician reports to the Custodial Supervisor and cares for the Main building/facilities and equipment.
• Maintaining these responsibilities will help to ensure the health, safety and security of the public.
• Basic knowledge of general housekeeping methods and practices, cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash and replace garbage liners, clean garbage receptacles as required.
• Dust and cleaning of fixtures, walls, doors, and other vertical or horizontal surfaces as required.
• Vacuum carpeted areas, mop tile and concrete floor areas as required.
• Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs and any damages.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial and gondola equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
