Job summary

Temco Logistics in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a delivery driver to load trucks and deliver packages to local stores and customers. You will operate a 26ft box truck, manage deliveries with a handheld device, and maintain professional communication with customers and store associates.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license with a clean record, at least 2 years of box truck experience, heavy-lifting ability, and the ability to pass background and DOT screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 7 years.
• Ability to operate a 26ft box truck.
• Minimum of 2 years of recentand verifiable box truck driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to pass a standard criminal background check.
• Be a team player with a strong work ethic.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings, including DOT physical exams.

Responsibilities

• Drive local home improvement stores to load trucks, then deliver packages safely and on time in all weather conditions.
• Operate a company-provided handheld device to manage and confirm deliveries.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and local store associates.
• Complete 15–20 deliveries per day.
• Work approximately 8-10 hours per day.
