Qualifications

• Graduate of a Bone Densitometry Program or Radiology Program (CRT).
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist or California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician Bone Densitometry Permit.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Bone Densitometry.
• Experience as a DEXA Technician; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• The DEXA Technician performs a variety of technical work related to taking and processing of x-ray films and related department activities as required.
