Job summary

Keller Foundations, a world leader in geotechnical construction, seeks an experienced Project Manager for the Corona, CA office to oversee dewatering projects in California and the region. Responsibilities include risk management, pre-project planning, coordinating design/submittals, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Travel may be required; a civil engineering or construction management background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum 5 years geotechnical, well drilling, construction dewatering, construction or industry related experience preferred.
• Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills necessary.
• Some travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Risk management: understand and apply Keller risk policies and minimize risks.
• Initial planning: design submittals, material orders, pre-job planning and scheduling.
• Project execution: lead project teams, manage subcontractors, ensure schedule and budget compliance.
• Change management: identify, track and escalate changes as needed.
• Financial management: monitor reports, forecasts, budgets, and collections.
• Safety and quality assurance: enforce safety rules and resolve quality issues.

Keller is looking for an outgoing, self-motivated, organized and experienced Project Manager based out of our Corona, CA office to oversee construction Dewatering projects in California and the region.

Responsibilities

• Risk Management Fully understands and complies with Keller risk management policies and procedures Recognizes major risks and takes appropriate measures to reduce risks to the company
• Initial Planning Responsible for designs, submittals, material ordering, pre-job planning and scheduling Plans pre-project meetings with the Superintendent and other entities as required Develops plans and strategies with the project team to maximize profitability of projects
• Project Execution Builds and leads effective project-based teams Overseas subcontractors Ensures the work performed meets the specified requirements Works with the branch and project team to ensure the project stays on schedule and in budget Identifies and addresses challenges and opportunities to maximize profitability Site visits and audits to verify safe and efficient field operations
• Change Management Identifies, tracks and addresses changes; escalates changes when necessary
• Financial Management Approves and monitors weekly and monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and other metrics throughout the duration of the project Manages A/R collections
• Safety and Quality Assurance Ensures compliance with all Keller and OSHA safety requirements In the event of a safety incident, work in partnership with HSEQ to support employees and project management teams per Keller policy Resolves all quality nonconformance issues Exercises stop work authority for Safety and Quality issues

Salary Range

#Keller1 #LI-DJ1Additional Information Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law.
