Job summary

Apex Pipe Services in Florida is seeking a Well Point Laborer to support dewatering projects statewide. You will work closely with the superintendent to set up and operate well point systems, install and maintain pumps, hoses and related equipment.

The role requires physical labor, readiness to travel across Florida, and safe operation of excavators, backhoes, and pumps. You will perform pre-operational checks and collaborate with the team to meet project objectives while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Previous construction or dewatering experience preferred.
• Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Willing to travel and work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Strong work ethic and safety-focused.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and operating well point dewatering systems.
• Install and maintain dewatering equipment like points, pumps, hoses.
• Monitor water levels and adjust equipment for efficiency.
• Travel to various Florida job sites with superintendent.
• Operate heavy equipment (excavators, backhoes, pumps).
• Conduct pre-operational checks and follow safety procedures.
