Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field and at least five years of software engineering experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Experience with Java and/or C++ object-oriented programming, plus at least three years leading software development projects; MATLAB proficiency.
• Preferred: advanced degrees, more years of experience, physics-based modeling software familiarity, DevSecOps practices, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and testing of software components across the project lifecycle.
• Translate system requirements into software requirements and models with traceability from design to deployment.
• Identify risks and drive mitigation strategies across the software lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and conformance with standards.
• Oversee testing, verification, and issue resolution for software systems.
