Job summary

Jobot is seeking a DevSecOps Manager to lead cloud infrastructure, platform operations, security, and deployment practices in a regulated environment. This hands-on leader role combines technical involvement with coaching a small engineering team.

You will own multi-cloud operations (AWS, Azure, GCP), drive CI/CD and IaC standards, and work with security/compliance teams to meet FedRAMP, SOC 2, and NIST guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps/Platform Engineering/SRE/Cloud Security or similar.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and production infrastructure.
• Experience across at least two major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Own DevOps/platform operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Manage containerized and VM-based infrastructure, including Kubernetes environments.
• Establish infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or Pulumi.
• Improve cloud security, monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident-response practices.
• Lead production incidents and develop repeatable operational runbooks.
• Implement security controls and automated guardrails within engineering workflows.
• Partner with security/compliance teams to support FedRAMP, SOC 2, and NIST-based environments.
• Lead and mentor a small DevOps/Security operations team.

This is a player/coach position for someone who can remain technically involved while leading and developing a small engineering team.

• Experience with Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud security.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Previous technical leadership or team-lead experience.
• Experience within FedRAMP, SOC 2, NIST, government, or another regulated environment is highly preferred.
