Job summary

Kforce Inc is seeking a Development Security & Operations Engineer in Medley, FL to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline, conduct assessments, and guide secure coding practices. You will collaborate with software teams to automate security tasks and respond to incidents, while staying current with evolving threats.

The role emphasizes cloud security across Azure and AWS, vulnerability management, and implementing secure infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or 10+ years in cybersecurity/devops in lieu of degree)
• Experience in DevOps, cybersecurity, or related role
• Familiarity with CI/CD, containers, and IaC
• Strong knowledge of security principles, risk and threat modeling
• Understanding of network architectures and secure design
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (Python/Java/Ruby)
• Experience with Azure and AWS security practices
• Incident response leadership or participation
• Awareness of GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2 requirements

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security tools within the CI/CD pipeline
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing
