Job summary

PSEG Long Island LLC is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to embed security into CI/CD, secure cloud infrastructure, and ensure applications and APIs meet enterprise security requirements.

You will work with development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to integrate automated security testing, vulnerability management, and compliance validation across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher with 4+ years of professional DevOps/DevSecOps experience.
• 8+ years with DevSecOps tooling, methodologies, and processes considered in lieu of degree.
• Proven CI/CD pipeline security across major platforms.
• Experience with SAST/DAST and API security practices.
• Deep cloud security experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CSPM familiarity.
• Container security with Docker/Kubernetes and secure artifact repositories.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines for automated secure delivery.
• Develop and maintain secure DevSecOps pipelines with scanning and compliance checks.
• Implement automated security testing: SAST, DAST, API tests.
• Operationalize code security capabilities: scanning, secret detection, dependency monitoring.
• Maintain API security controls and protect enterprise endpoints.
• Support container security and artifact repository management.
• Collaborate with security, infra, and development teams to reduce risk.
• Provide guidance on secure coding and DevSecOps best practices.
