Job Description

As a DevSecOps Engineer III, you will design, build, and maintain a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery across production, QA, and development environments throughout the development lifecycle.

The work you'll do
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes.
  • Implement automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, monitoring.
  • Utilize a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end-to-end quality across functions.
Here's what you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certification to satisfy IAT Level 2 (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or similar).
  • 7+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation, scalability, and reliability across the software development lifecycle; and delivering DevSecOps services across multiple classified domains (e.g., IL5, IL6+).
  • Knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools like Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, and/or Ansible.
  • Experience utilizing version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, and/or CVS.
  • Experienced with network infrastructure, database, cloud and data center operations, and security protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows OS.
  • Understands AWS and other services.
  • Experience with programming and scripting with languages like Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, or C++.
Bonus points if you have
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and other automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube, and/or Prisma Cloud).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), in a Linux environment (e.g., RHEL, Oracle Linux, or similar).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform and/or CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Experience with Tier 1-3 customer support and ticketing systems (e.g., GitLab Service Desk or ServiceNow).
  • Understanding of AWS capabilities (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, etc) and architecting secure cloud-based infrastructure and services.
  • Hands‑on experience configuring applications and systems to comply with Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Requirements Guide (SRG) by implementing security best practices.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, common vulnerabilities, and exposure to security frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST, OpenSCAP).
  • Ability to work independently and communicate with stakeholders across a global enterprise and cross‑functional teams to drive project completion.
Security clearance
  • Active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is: $100,200—$203,400 USD
