Job summary

A federal contracting company located in McLean, Virginia is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support cloud development. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud technologies and DevSecOps practices. Responsibilities include automating development processes and ensuring cybersecurity. This role demands 3-5 years of relevant experience and offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $165,000.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance.
• 3 Years of Experience with one or more clouds (i.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 3 Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket.
• 3 Years of Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages.
• 3 Years of application DevSecOps Experience in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish development tools and infrastructure for automation.
• Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results.
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates.
